The Boston Arts Academy Foundation was established as the nonprofit fundraising wing of the Arts Academy in 1999 to help bridge the funding gap between what the Boston Public Schools is able to provide and what an excellent arts and academics program really costs: The Arts Academy’s strategic plan revealed that the current level of Boston Public Schools funding will fall over $1-million short each year of what it will cost to offer urban students a quality arts education.
Public/private partnerships and collaborations have been a hallmark of the Boston Arts Academy since the school’s inception. We have been fortunate to attract the support of individuals and organizations who understand that not only are we building Boston’s first public high school for the visual and performing arts, but we are also serving as an important resource for educators throughout the community and far beyond.
Boston Arts Academy invites you to schedule a week day visit.
